Travel to St. Michaels on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, a historic town filled with a collage of handsome churches, manicured colonial, federal and Victorian homes, and historic maritime heritage. Upon arrival, relax aboard the climate-controlled PATRIOT, as we cruise upon the beautiful Miles River, part of the Chesapeake Bay. Listen to historic narrative on the beginnings of St. Michaels and the evolution of the Chesapeake Bay and view the historic homes and wildlife. Afterwards, you will have free time to have lunch on your own and explore the island and the many shops and museums. We will follow our day up with bountiful dinner at the Crab Claw Restaurant, a traditional Maryland crab house.
