Indulge in a Country Breakfast Buffet to fuel your day. Then enjoy the captivating history of the Von Trapp family with a fascinating talk and a documentary film, “The Real Maria,” that recounts her touching memories of Salzburg, Austria.
Your adventure continues as your local guide takes you on a exploration of the area. Your first stop is the whimsical Country Christmas Loft, where you’ll find yourself in a stunning winter wonderland filled with twinkling lights, enchanting decorations, and festive ornaments.
Next, enjoy a leisurely lunch at the lively Church Street Marketplace, a delightful open-air shopping haven brimming with over 100 unique shops and charming restaurants. Stroll through the historical architecture as vibrant street performers entertain and enhance the cheerful holiday atmosphere.
Later, you’ll visit the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, where the magic of bear-making comes alive! Witness skilled artisans crafting imaginative bears that each possess its own delightful personality, making it a truly memorable experience.
As daylight fades, prepare to be mesmerized by the Winter Lights at Shelburne Museum. With stunning light displays illuminating the grounds, the museum transforms into a dazzling Vermont winter wonderland. Sip on warm hot chocolate as you stroll through this enchanting spectacle.

Next, get hands-on with the holiday spirit at a nearby plant nursery, where you’ll learn the art of crafting your own handmade holiday wreath. Or, you may choose to witness the incredible expertise of a local artist at a Bear Carver demonstration. Choose your adventure and enrich your holiday experience!
Afterward, enjoy free time for lunch in the picturesque town of Stowe, Vermont, where twinkling lights and snow-covered ski mountains create a magical winter wonderland atmosphere. Explore charming boutiques and historic architecture as you soak in the delightful community spirit of this holiday-centric village.
In the afternoon, make your way to a local Dog Sled Farm, where the excitement of dog sledding awaits! Meet adorable Siberian husky pups, learn about the different sled types, and discover what it takes to be a musher—an unforgettable experience for animal lovers and adventure seekers alike!
