You’ll first arrive at the powdery beaches of Grand Turk a Caribbean paradise that serves as the capital of the Turks and Caicos Islands. The cruise port features a massive, beachfront Margaritaville complex with one of the largest pools in the Caribbean, but those looking to explore further can easily hop on a golf cart to visit the historic Grand Turk Lighthouse or the charming, colonial-style buildings of Cockburn Town.

Next stop is Puerto Plata, the jewel of the Dominican Republic’s “Amber Coast.” The city is a vibrant mix of history and adventure. You can ride the only cable car in the Caribbean to the summit of Mount Isabel de Torres, where a giant statue of Christ the Redeemer stands amidst sprawling botanical gardens. Adventure seekers often head inland to the Damajagua Waterfalls to hike and slide down natural limestone chutes.

The adventure continues in San Juan, where historic cobblestone streets lead you through a vibrant blend of 500 years of Spanish heritage and modern Caribbean energy, all centered around the iconic walled city of Old San Juan.
