Day 1 – Sunday, November 8, 2026                  (D)

Check-in at the Edgewater Resort, nestled along the scenic Little Pigeon River in Gatlinburg, the perfect home base for your Smoky Mountain getaway. Then visit The Incredible Christmas Place, a wonderland of holiday décor and festive spirit.

This afternoon, embark on the Dolly Parton Historic Tour, traveling Sevier County’s backroads to see Dolly’s childhood hometown, schools, and favorite places she wrote music—an intimate look at her early life and the Smoky Mountains she calls home. Enjoy an included lunch at Pigeon Forge’s Sunliner Diner, a retro 1950s-themed eatery with hand-spun milkshakes and classic diner fare. Continue the tour with a visit to Emerts Cove Covered Bridge and Cemetery, a picturesque spot for photos and reflection. Stop at Ogle’s Brooms to watch handmade brooms being crafted, then enjoy free time exploring the artisan shops at Cliff Dwellers Gallery along the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community Loop. End the afternoon with a sweet treat at the Ice Cream Fountain and a short stroll through downtown Sevierville past the Dolly Statue and Courthouse. Experience the breathtaking beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains on your guided tour of one of America’s most beloved national parks. This scenic tour takes you through winding mountain roads, lush forests, and panoramic overlooks, offering countless photo opportunities and moments to connect with nature. Return to your hotel for free time to relax and enjoy the amenities at the resort or explore Gatlinburg and have lunch on your own.
